Understanding how you learn can be fun and beneficial! Most learners can adapt however a lesson is presented. However, if you find that a particular instructional environment does not match well with your preferred learning style, you can find strategies to overcome this mismatch. For example, if you prefer listening to a lecture rather than reading in the text, you could make a tape recording of the text and listen to it.
