USG Program Criteria
- Has the program been approved by the Board of Regents for distance education delivery?
- Will the program be accessible throughout the 16 state SREB region?
- Can your institution provide appropriate support to students in any of the 16 SREB regional states?
- Are there adequate seats to accommodate additional enrollments?
- Have the programs been taught for one or more terms?
- Does the program address regional education or economic development needs, such as Business, Information Technology, Education and Healthcare?
- Has the program gone through the Board of Regent’s External Degree Approval Procedure?
- (SREB) – at least 90 percent of all didactic course work required to complete the proposed degree program is made available to prospective students in an electronic format.
