Project Description
USG SHARE is a digital repository for instructional content provided by the University System of Georgia to share high quality instructional resources within the USG, regionally through the SREB-SCORE project, and to colleges, universities and consortia throughout the United States and around the world.
Through USG SHARE, faculty and instructional design staff can find existing instructional resources or contribute content they use in their own courses for others to use. The repository contains high quality, reusable instructional resources that can be used across the curriculum to support teaching and learning within the University System of Georgia and beyond.
USG SHARE is designed to:
- Provide high quality, reusable instructional resources that can be used across the curriculum to support teaching and learning within the USG.
- Reduce the time and costs of online course development by encouraging the sharing of reusable digital instructional resources among institutions in the USG.
- Facilitate the development of communities of practice that will champion and encourage the development, sharing, and innovative use of digital instructional resources within the USG.
Sources of Content
Learning resources in the repository are developed and contributed by faculty members and instructional design staff from the USG as well as obtained through partnerships with other digital repositories and projects such as the SREB SCORE project.
Audience
The resources in USG SHARE are available to USG faculty and instructional technology support staff.
