USG Course Criteria
In addition to the Electronic Campus criteria listed in the Institutional Coordinator's Handbook, USG institutions should consider the following factors in determining which courses may be most appropriate for listing with the Electronic Campus:
- Are the courses accessible to prospective students throughout the 16 state SREB region, through Web-based, satellite, videotape or CD-ROM instruction?
- Can your institution provide appropriate support to students in any of the 16 SREB regional states?
- Are there adequate seats to accommodate additional enrollments?
- Have courses been taught for one or more terms?
- Does the course address regional education or economic development needs, such as Business, Information Technology, Education and Healthcare?
- Does the course or program use some form of technology at least 51% of the time?
