Collaborative Development

ALT fosters the development and implementation of quality e-learning incorporating collaborative program approaches. During the past several years, ALT has assisted University System of Georgia institutions with developing online degree and certificate programs. In each case the development process varied because the nature of each collaborative program was significantly different, and each approach involved differing numbers of resources, design models, and pedagogical styles.

ALT communicates these processes and models of scalable and replicable collaborative program development to University System faculty and staff. These concepts outline development steps, propose key questions for consideration, and identify decision points and potential decision-making tools. Also, while not strictly designed as a costing model, these processes might help identify what cost factors are involved and when they might come into play.
